Austrian Winter Peas

Food Plot: Austrian Winter Peas can be used as a food plot seed or a cover crop seed. They are highly nutritious and digestible to deer. With protein levels anywhere from 20% to 30% there is no question these peas will help keep your wildlife healthy. The seeds, stems, and leaves can all be eaten by wildlife. 

Cover Crop: Austrian Winter Peas are heavily used when it comes to cover crops. They are a great nitrogen builder as well as a soil builder.

  • Cold Tolerant: These peas are more cold hardy than most pea varieties
  • Fall or Spring: Often planted in early spring as a cover crop or in the fall for food plots and cover crops
  • Protein Packed: Protein levels are 20% to 30% in these peas
  • Extremely Digestible: Very easy for deer to digest 
  • Fast Growing: Grow super fast (5 to 6 weeks) offering tons of forage
