Dacotah Switchgrass is a warm-season perennial native grass developed for northern climates, known for its superior winter hardiness and strong drought tolerance. Reaching 3–5 feet tall, it matures earlier than many other cultivars and produces consistent seed that benefits birds and helps maintain productive stands. An older upland variety that does not establish as quickly as our RC Switchgrass lineup, but remains a dependable and proven option for northern wildlife habitat and forage use.
