RC Haven is the shortest RC switchgrass variety and is known for having the best winter standability in the RC lineup. It produces fewer but thicker stems that remain upright through heavy snow and winter storms, making it especially valuable for upland bird habitat where dependable winter cover and seed production help reduce winter mortality.
